all about Stephanie

Stephanie approaches therapy with a deep commitment to helping clients navigate their journeys of self-exploration and healing. Inspired by the idea that “We are all just walking each other home,” she sees her role as a guide, offering unconditional support and genuine care from the very first session.

While pursuing her MA in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness at NYU, Stephanie draws on her background in journalism to bring a unique perspective to her work. She recognizes the power of the stories we tell ourselves and takes a holistic approach to understanding her clients within the context of their upbringing, culture, family dynamics, and relationships. Her goal is to help clients feel seen, understood, and connected as they work toward greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and alignment in their lives.

Areas of exploration with clients: Anxiety, depression, connection to voice & intuition, women's issues, life transitions, relationship and family issues, perfectionism, self-esteem, OCD, & eating disorders.

Modalities used: Psychodynamic theory, Internal Family Systems, trauma-informed CBT & DBT, and feminist theories.

how she works

Stephanie’s therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s needs. Drawing from psychodynamic theory, trauma-informed CBT and DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment theory, her work focuses on helping clients uncover patterns, build resilience, and connect with their intuition. She also incorporates mindfulness-based modalities for clients interested in deepening their connection to the present moment.

Stephanie has clinical experience working with individuals navigating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, women’s health, relationship challenges, identity concerns, life transitions, career stress, family dynamics, and self-esteem. As an LGBTQ+ affirming and inclusive therapist, she prioritizes creating a safe and welcoming space for all clients.

In sessions, Stephanie’s warmth and empathy empower clients to explore their unique stories and discover pathways to healing and growth. Whether you’re seeking support through life transitions or working to build greater self-understanding, Stephanie is committed to guiding you toward a life of greater alignment and fulfillment.
