all about Sarah

Sarah is a therapist who believes that healing happens through both understanding and embodiment. She brings a compassionate, grounded, and collaborative presence to therapy, supporting clients in unpacking long-standing emotional patterns while reconnecting with the innate wisdom of their bodies. For Sarah, therapy isn't just about insight, it’s about integrating mind and body to foster lasting emotional resilience and inner connection.

Sarah holds an M.Ed. from UCLA and is completing her clinical training in Mental Health Counseling at New York University. With a background in education and a clinical foundation, she brings a deep understanding of how formative experiences influence our current identities and emotional lives. She is dedicated to creating an inclusive, nonjudgmental space where all identities and lived experiences are honored, and where your nervous system has the safety it needs to heal, grow, and move forward from within.

Areas of exploration with clients: anxiety, trauma, depression,  self-image, career changes, women's issues, relational issues, self-doubt, and life transitions.

Modalities used: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Body work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness.

how she works

Sarah's approach draws on an integrative blend of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic mindfulness to uncover patterns and behavior systems. Her style is collaborative, relational, and presently attuned to each client's unique experience. She views symptoms and coping strategies not as failures, but as adaptations and responses that once served to protect us, even if they no longer serve us now. Her integrative style is especially supportive for those feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and struggling in relationships due to anxiety, trauma, or life transitions. With attention to the nervous system and the body's subtle cues, Sarah helps clients process what words alone may not reach, creating space for embodied healing, emotional regulation, and greater self-trust.
