all about Kirat

Kirat is a contemplative guide and associate psychotherapist who bridges the mystical and the mundane to offer a multidimensional approach to healing. Her work is centered on helping clients reconnect with their sovereignty, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with greater wisdom, clarity, and possibility.

With a rich background in Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, relational theories, and archetypal work, Kirat fosters transformative growth by helping clients restore their personal power and develop a deeper sense of inner resourcefulness. She also works creatively with clients to cultivate trust, intuitive awareness, and a meaningful connection to their lives.

Kirat is currently completing her master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Columbia University and holds a BA in Psychology from Columbia University and an AA in Buying and Merchandising from The London College of Fashion.

how she works

Kirat’s therapeutic approach is integrative and contemplative, combining evidence-based practices with contemplative science and Jungian analysis. She draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to support clients in restoring balance between intellect and intuition. Her work focuses on addressing concerns related to complex trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, grief, self-esteem, eating disorders, and relational dynamics.

Through her studies at The Nalanda Institute and training at The Tibet House and MNDFL Meditation, Kirat merges contemplative practices with psychology to help clients expand their awareness and achieve greater alignment and joy. Her approach supports individuals navigating life transitions, relational dynamics, spirituality, and deeply embedded emotional patterns.

Beyond therapy, Kirat consults with brands to integrate mindfulness practices into modern culture, bridging the gap between mental health and contemplative traditions. Whether in counseling or consultation, Kirat is committed to helping clients reconnect with their inner wisdom and create lives of greater balance and fulfillment.
