all about Georgia
Georgia is a warm, nonjudgmental therapist who brings authenticity and genuine presence into the therapy space, while inviting clients to show up fully as themselves. She is passionate about supporting individuals who feel stuck in survival mode and helping them move toward a greater sense of peace, balance, and emotional safety in their lives. Georgia understands that starting therapy can feel vulnerable and overwhelming, and strives to meet clients wherever they are in their healing process. When life feels heavy, chaotic, or emotionally exhausting, she works collaboratively with clients to sit with difficult emotions while helping them build practical tools to navigate challenges with greater resilience and self-understanding.
Georgia is currently completing her Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. She has worked in the mental health field for over two years and draws from both her professional and personal experiences to create a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment where clients can explore all parts of themselves with curiosity and care.
Areas of Exploration with Clients: OCD, anxiety, depression, self esteem, disordered eating, body image, relationship challenges, attachment, and life transitions.
Modalities Used: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychoeducation, somatic-based, attachment-based, and mindfulness-based approaches
how she works
Do you find yourself overthinking, ruminating, or constantly questioning whether you’re a “good” person? Maybe you feel overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts you’re afraid to say out loud, stuck in relationship patterns that no longer serve you, or emotionally exhausted from trying to appear okay while struggling internally. Georgia understands how isolating and consuming these experiences can feel, and wants clients to know they do not have to navigate them alone.
Georgia draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and a trauma-informed lens to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns while building practical tools to move through life with greater confidence and flexibility. Her approach to therapy is deeply relational, collaborative, and compassionate, creating a space where clients feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences while also feeling supported in creating meaningful change.
Wherever you are in your healing process, Georgia strives to meet you there while helping you build greater self-trust, self-compassion, and a stronger connection to the life you want to live.
