how she works

Gabriella’s therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She incorporates contemplative, multicultural, feminist, humanistic, and existential therapeutic lenses to create a space where all parts of a client’s identity and experience are welcomed and explored.

Gabriella specializes in helping clients reconnect with their inner tools of creativity, compassion, and insight. She understands that while the tools we develop to survive may no longer serve us, they demonstrate our capacity for resilience and growth. Her work supports clients in transforming outdated coping mechanisms into pathways for healing and empowerment.

With a strong commitment to social justice, Gabriella has extensive experience working with individuals of intersecting and marginalized identities. She helps clients navigate inner conflict, feelings of emptiness, and self-criticism while building resilience, insight, and self-compassion.
