Patricia Alice

Associate Psychotherapist

Patricia is pursuing her M.A. and an Ed.M. in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College,
Columbia University. She is also a Health and Wellness coach for Columbia Health. Originally
from Austria, Patricia came to the United States at six years of age after her family won the
green card lottery. She grew up in Las Vegas and holds a bachelor’s degree in international
business from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Before becoming a therapist, she served in
AmeriCorps and worked in marketing and fashion apparel buying.

Patricia incorporates everything she has learned into creating a tailored approach in her sessions that will work best for her clients. She brings positivity, curiosity, genuine interest, and care to help facilitate a deep discussion of things that may have never been talked about or addressed. Her style is direct and will challenge you to keep going deeper to figure things out and start putting together pieces. Patricia will help you make connections, gain insights and turn them into actionable steps to be the best version of yourself.

She firmly believes that secrets can become your own prison, creating lingering suffering in
one’s life. Patricia can guide you in freeing you of this suffering and provide a nurturing and
judgment-free space to help untangle and discuss these inner wounds. Freedom lies in embracing and accepting what happened and making new choices. The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. Patricia will guide you to find your way back to your true self, free from expectations that others may have of you, so that you can live your life with authenticity and balance.

Patricia also offers counseling in German, which gives German and Austrian clients for whom
English is a second language the unique benefit of opening up and experiencing therapy in their native language.

No matter your reasons for starting therapy, Patricia feels honored to be a part of your journey towards gaining a sense of autonomy in your everyday life.
