Gabriella Reamer

Psychotherapist

In suffering, what do you move towards? Maybe your methods of coping with inner conflict, feelings of emptiness, or self-criticism feel repetitive. Eventually, you find yourself trapped in a cycle that distances you from what you most want for yourself. You don’t have to do this alone. Working as an IFS-based clinician, Gabriella prioritizes making space for all parts of you in our work together. Human beings are excellent survivors, but the tools we once used to survive may no longer serve us. Luckily, the attempts we make to keep ourselves safe are an example of our capacity for resilience and growth. Together, you can find new ways to channel your inner wisdom toward creating the life you truly desire.

While suffering may be a part of life, healing is always within reach. As your therapist, she is deeply committed to accompanying you on your journey toward self-acceptance, authenticity, and fulfillment. Gabriella has a background in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She approaches healing from a holistic perspective, welcoming all parts of you with warmth and genuine curiosity. Through these evidence-based methods, you can build a strong and meaningful alliance that can lead you to reconnect with your inner tools of creativity, compassion, and insight. Together, you can embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and growth.

Gabriella's passion lies in integrating creativity and the mind-body connection into the healing process. By combining the therapeutic approaches of ACT, IFS, and MBSR, she tailors the therapeutic experience to your unique needs, identity, and goals. She works through contemplative, multicultural, feminist, humanistic, and existential therapeutic lenses. She has primarily worked with populations of intersecting and marginalized identities, and social justice is a fundamental aspect of my framework. She holds an MA in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from New York University and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in Contemplative Psychology, Gender, and Women’s Studies, and Creative Writing from Naropa University, which has equipped her with a diverse and comprehensive understanding of the human experience.
