all about Catherine
Therapy doesn't have to feel clinical-it can feel like a real, honest connection. Catherine believes that healing happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported. She creates a space where client can explore all parts of themselves - without judgment and leave feeling lighter, more confident, and better equipped to face life's challenges.
She specializes in working with young adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship struggles, self-esteem issues, disordered eating, and career uncertainty. With warmth, humor, and compassion, she brings authenticity into the room and views therapy as a collaborative process. Her work is grounded in the belief that clients are the experts of their own experiences, and that therapy should e a team effort.
While emotional insight and self-reflection are essential, Catherine also focuses on helping clients build practical tools they can use outside of session. She often incorporates mindfulness, grounding, and somatic techniques to help clients manage stress, stay present, and feel more in control of their daily lives. Whether someone feels stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of their path, she walks alongside them- one step at a time.

Areas of exploration with clients: anxiety & stress, life transitions, career transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, disordered eating, depression, mindfulness & coping skills.
Modalities used: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
how she works
Catherine’s approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, and person-centered therapy. Her work is also informed by relational and psychodynamic perspectives, which help clients understand how past experiences shape their present patterns and relationships.
Sessions may include moments of silence, reflection, humor, or exploration—as Catherine shows up as a real person and invites clients to do the same. Her goal is always to meet people where they are and support them in reconnecting with themselves in a way that feels honest, empowering, and human.
